Assassins Creed Origins - Bayek of Siwa

Bayek of Siwa aka Amun is the main protagonist of the Assasisns Creed Origins Game. Bayek is an Egyptian medijay according to the game and he is one of the last medijays who lived in the time of Cleopatra. Bayek is a black male featured as the main protagonist in a popular game released recently dates back just only to 2017. Making an Egyptian as the main protagonist lead to many conclusions among fans of assassins creed. But Ubisoft Montreal developed the game with Bayek as the main protagonist and Ubisoft published it. Game received many positive reviews. Specially Gamesradar+ gave the game 5 out of 5 stars and IGN gave the game a score of 9 out of 10.

CRYSIS 3 - Prophet aka Major Laurence Barns

Prophet aka Laurence Barns is the main protagonist of the game and he is a bald headed black male. Even though, Prophet appears in previous Crysis titles he becomes the main protagonist in Crysis 3. Bayek is the one who tried the Nanosuit 1.0 for the first time in the Crysis series. In the events of Crysis 2 Laurence Barns was infected with the sephs Manhattan virus and commits suicide to stop the virus but before doing so he gives his nanosuit to dying raptor team member named Alcatraz. This event triggers how his presence is possible in Crysis 3. According to the game Prophet is a deadly weapon system made from alien upgrades and knotted nano muscle pack wrapped around a stolen corpse dreaming it was once a man named Laurence Barns. Developed by Crytek Frankfurt and Crytek UK and published by Electronic Arts the game received positive reviews from critics. Specially Gamespy gave the game 4 out of 5 stars and EGM gave the game a score of 9 out of 10.

SLEEPING DOGS - WEI SHEN 

Sleeping Dogs is a popular action game whom the protagonist is an Asian. Wei Shen is the main protagonist in the game. Bayek is a Chinese undercover SDU officer tasked with going undercover for the Hong Kong police to infiltrate the triads. Bayek is also a very talented martial artist, a skilled marksman and have professional driving abilities of all kinds of road vehicles and bikes. Bayek is also considered as dangerous as a triad member he who takes no regrets brutally killing the targets more over than arresting them. The game was developed by United Front Games together with Square Enix London Studios and published by Square Enix. The game received positive reviews from critics. Specially Gamesradar+ gave the game 4.5 out of 5 stars and ironically game received a score of 9 out of 10 from destructoid, OPM(UK),OXM(UK) respectively.

REMEMBER ME - NILIN CARTIER-WELLS 

Remember Me is an action-adventure game centers on the protagonist Nilin Cartier-Wells. This game is also a major game title employs a female as the main character. Not alike Lara Croft of Tomb Raider series Nilin is a powerhouse more than a sex symbol. Her appearance shows no big sexual impacts on the player but her abilities and powers makes the male players forget that they are playing a female character in the game. She has a unique ability of remixing memories of sensen users which she learned from her father Charles Carter-Wells. The game was developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by CAPCOM. The game also received mostly positive reviews. Ironically Remember Me received a score of 8 out of 10 from Edge Online which most of the other games on this list received a score lower than 7. Publisher PC Master Greece gave the game a score of 90 out 100 while publisher Electronic Gaming Monthly Now gave them a score of 9.0.

RESIDENT EVIL 3: NEMESIS - JILL VALENTINE

Resident Evil 3 Nemesis also called as Biohazard 3: Last Escape in Japan features Jill Valentine as the main protagonist of the game. Jill is also the first playable character in Survival Horror Genre and also one of the first playable female protagonists of video games. In the game Jill has to find a way out of Raccon City and confronted by the Nemesis until the end of the game. Jill's appearance is also present in most of the Resident Evil franchises. The game was developed and published by CAPCOM. It also received positive reviews where Gamepro gave them 5 out of 5 stars alongside with OPM UK's score of 10 out of 10.

TOMB RAIDER SERIES (1996 - 2018) - LARA CROFT

The Iconic Lara Croft is and always be the main protagonist of all Tomb Raider games since 1996 to present. The first installment of the game series was Tomb Raider (1996) and the most recent entry was Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018). She is potraited as a highly intelligent, athletic and attractive archaeologist who goes around the world venturing into ancient tombs and hazardous ruins of the past. She holds six Guinness world records along with earning a place in Walk of Game. Lara Croft is also considered as a sex symbol and she is one of the first video game characters successfully adapted into a film. Games in the Tomb Raider series developed by Cored Design, Crystal Dynamics, Nixxes Software, Ubisoft Milan and Eidos Monteréal and published by Eidos Interactive (1996 - 2009),Square Enix (2009 - Present). The series received critical acclaim and considered as one of pioneers of the action-adventure genre games.

ASSASINS CREED: FREEDOM CRY - ADÉWALÉ

In the Historic-Adventure game Assassins Creed Freedom Cry, Adéwalé a black slave who freed himself from slavery is the main protagonist. According to the game he is born into slavery in Trinidad. He was first introduced in Assassins Creed Black Flag as protagonist Edward Kenway's quartermaster of the Jackdaw though he was a NPC in Black Flag. The game features many missions and activities based on saving and freeing slaves from their masters and making their life independent and free from the French Templars. The game was developed by Ubisoft Québec and published by Ubisoft. Writers Jill Murray, Wesley Pincombe and Hugo Giard received a Writers Guild of America Awards nomination in 67th edition for the screenplay and story of the game. 

BAD BOYS MIAMI TAKEDOWN - MARCUS BURNETT AND MIKE LOWREY

Bad Boys: Miami Takedown also known as Bad Boys II in Europe is a video game based on the film Bad Boys II. The main two protagonists are Miami Police Department Detctives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery. Both of the protagonists a black males. The game released after the DVD release of the film back in 2004. It was developed by Blitz Games and published by Empire Interactive along with Carve Entertainment. The game received generally unfavorable reviews according to review aggregator metacritic. The game also declared #10 worst GameTrailers" Top Ten Best and Worst Video Games.

ASSASINS CREED III : LIBERATION - AVELINE DE GRANDPRÉ

In the game Assassins Creed III: Liberation the player explores the life of the 18th Century French American female assassin named Aveline de Grandpré. She is also the very first female protagonist of the Assassins Creed franchise. The game Liberation was developed by Ubisoft Sofia, Ubisoft Milan, Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The game received positive reviews from metacritc, While Game Informer gave the game a score of 7.75 out of 10. In December 2015 Game Informer also ranked the game as the 10th Best Game in the Assassins Creed series to date. 

GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS - CARL "CJ" JOHNSON

Carl "CJ" Johnson serves as the main protagonist of the GTA : San Andreas. Bayek is an African - American gang member who is the second in command of his brother Sweet Johnson's gang the Groove Street families. The game was criticized by some for its racial stereotyping, Some saw it as ironic while others defended the game. Developed by Rockstar North and Published by Rockstar Games the game received positive average score of 95 out 100 from the review aggregator Metacritic, While Game Spot gave the game a score of 9 out of 10. Sand Andreas ranks 27 in the Edge's Top 100 games to play today. In 2015 this game also placed 8th of 15 best games since 2000 list of the USgamer.
